Moles and concerning skin changes.

A new mole, a change in the appearance of a mole, or a spot that is bleeding or not healing is a reason for medical evaluation. First the examination - only then a conversation about further action.

What have you noticed?

The description will help you prepare for the interview. We determine the further plan during the visit.

A change in the appearance of a mole

Tell me if the shape, color or size has changed. Photos from earlier can help with the conversation.

A new or different-looking skin lesion

Notice the spot that looks different from the other moles. Self-assessment is not a substitute for examination.

Bleeding or failure to heal

Show a doctor any skin lesion that bleeds, keeps returning or does not heal. Do not choose a cosmetic procedure for it yourself.

First step · Dermatoscopic examination

First mole examination.

Tatiana Jasińska, M.D., assesses moles during a dermatoscopic examination. The type of further treatment and the need for additional diagnostics are determined after the examination.

When making an appointment, tell the reception that you want to have your moles assessed. Prepare previous test descriptions, information about the removed changes and indicate the places that have changed.

Before your visit

What often ask us?

01Can I immediately sign up for laser mole removal?

A dermatologist's evaluation is needed first. Laser is not the right treatment for every lesion; diagnosis precedes the choice of removal method.

02Is only one mole examined?

Please advise when booking what scope of assessment you require. The reception will confirm the appropriate type and time of the visit.

03Is a phone photo enough for the assessment?

It may show the previous appearance of the lesion, but does not replace examination by a doctor and dermatoscopy.

04What to do if the mole has started to change?

Contact the reception and describe the change. Do not postpone the assessment until after your planned aesthetic procedure.

05Does the mole always have to be removed after the examination?

No. The dermatologist may recommend observation, control or further diagnostics, depending on the appearance of the lesion.

06How much does a mole examination cost?

Variants and prices can be found on the dermatoscopy website. The reception desk will confirm the scope of the assessment before you book your appointment.
