You may feel warmth, burning or stinging. Their severity depends on the laser, settings, area and individual sensitivity. Local anesthesia is used for some procedures. Before your treatment, we'll discuss what you're expecting and how to alleviate them - especially if you're concerned about pain.

For the consultation, prepare a list of medications and supplements as well as information about previous treatments. Tell us about sunbathing, the use of retinol and acids, herpes and healing problems. Recommendations and possible breaks in care depend on the method. Do not stop taking medications on your own; also report any active infection or skin irritation before your visit.

There is no one rule for all lasers. The method, skin condition, tan and planned trips are important. A fresh tan or sunburn may require postponement of treatment. Sun protection is needed before and after laser therapy; Sunscreen alone does not replace avoiding sunbathing. We set the date taking into account these conditions.

It depends on the type and intensity of the treatment. Redness, swelling, peeling or small crusting may occur. Fractional CO₂ usually takes longer to heal than milder non-ablative treatments. Before choosing a date, we will discuss the expected course of regeneration, care and return to work, make-up and physical activity.

There is no one number or schedule for everyone. The plan depends on the type of lesions, the laser chosen, the expected extent of improvement and how the skin responds. Sometimes a series is needed. The intervals take into account healing and the assessment of the effect of the previous visit; shortening them does not automatically mean a better result.

Changes are assessed after the post-treatment reaction has subsided, and improvement in skin structure may develop gradually over the following months. One visit does not guarantee that you will achieve your goal. It is also not possible to promise the complete disappearance of every scar or the absence of recurrence of pigmentation. If histopathological examination is required, a method should be chosen that allows the material to be preserved for evaluation. A mole that changes its appearance, bleeds or raises suspicion does not qualify for laser treatment based solely on the photo or name in the price list.
