In our clinic
Dr Tatiana Jasińska is a specialist in dermatology and venereology with a doctorate from the Medical University of Silesia. At Atlanta & Esti Clinic, she provides dermatology consultations and assesses suitability for treatments, combining a skin examination with a discussion of your symptoms.
During a hair visit, it is important when the hair loss started, whether it is sudden or gradual and whether it is accompanied by scalp problems. We also discuss diseases, medications, health changes, care and current treatment. Existing test results and previous photos help recreate the course of the problem.
Further treatment results from the diagnosis: it may include dermatological treatment, changes in care, additional diagnostics or procedures. Scalp laser therapy, mesotherapy and plasma procedures only have their place when warranted in a given case. Before making a decision, we discuss the purpose, limitations of the method and visit plan.
Follow-ups allow you to evaluate your treatment and change your recommendations if necessary. Hair growth takes time, so we set the date for assessing the effects individually. You can come to your first visit without a selected method and without a ready-made treatment package.

Before your visit
When you notice more than usual hair loss, thinning, wider parting, receding hairline or patches of hairlessness. The reason for the visit is also pruritus, burning, flaking and changes on the scalp. You don't need to know the diagnosis - just describe what has changed and since when.
Record when your symptoms started and how they changed. Prepare a list of medications, supplements and scalp products, previous recommendations and test results. If you have photos showing how hair density changes over time, bring them along. Also tell us about any previous illnesses, childbirth, stress or changes in diet.
You don't have to select the test panel yourself. The diagnostics needed depend on the history and assessment of the scalp; your doctor may recommend tests if he or she suspects a specific cause of hair loss. Take the results you already have with you to your appointment, along with the dates they were taken.
No. Sudden hair loss from the entire head, gradual thinning and single hairless spots may have various causes. Sometimes several problems arise. Therefore, a similar appearance of the hairstyle does not mean the same treatment, and the method is selected after a medical assessment.
Yes. Such events may be preceded by severe shedding associated with the hair growth cycle, known as telogen effluvium. Symptoms may not appear until several months later. However, this does not confirm the cause in every person - during the visit we assess the course of the problem and the possibility of other causes.
They may be a sign of progressive thinning, including androgenetic alopecia. However, the appearance of the hairline alone is not sufficient for diagnosis. The rate of change, family history and scalp assessment are important. It is worth discussing the problem when you notice the first changes, instead of waiting for a significant hair loss.
Yes. The consultation also covers the scalp itself. Recurrent peeling, redness, itching or pustules require evaluation as different diseases and irritations can cause similar symptoms. Take the names of the shampoos and products you use and describe which ones helped and which ones made things worse.
Yes, it is worth showing such an area to a dermatologist, especially if it is enlarging or further outbreaks appear. One of the possible causes is alopecia areata, but the loss may have other causes. Accompanying peeling, pain or skin changes are additional information for the doctor.
On your first visit, start with a dermatologist consultation. Thulium laser, mesotherapy or plasma procedures are not automatically the right choice for every type of hair loss. First, we determine the diagnosis and the purpose of the procedure, and then we discuss whether the treatments are needed and what plan is justified.
Hair grows gradually, so evaluation usually takes months, not days. The term depends on the diagnosis and the method used; reducing hair loss and improving density do not have to occur at the same time. During the follow-up, we discuss the course of changes. It is not possible to guarantee regrowth or the same effect for every person.
There is no single product suitable for every cause of hair loss. Care can support the condition of your hair and scalp, but it does not replace diagnosis. Supplementation should have justification, for example a confirmed deficiency; excess of some ingredients may also be harmful. Discuss the medications you take during the consultation.
We adapt the recommendations to the skin condition and treatment used. In daily care, it is worth limiting hair pulling, strongly stretching hairstyles and intense exposure to high temperatures. If the cosmetic increases burning or irritation, tell your doctor. Use medicated shampoos and products according to the instructions received.
Dermatological consultation is a separate item in the price list. When considering treatments, check whether the price applies to one visit, a specific product or a series. The total cost depends on the procedure established and the number of visits.
