Diagnosis and course of treatment
The aim is to determine the cause of the complaint and further treatment. Sometimes the first visit leads to the ordering of tests and not a final diagnosis.
Dermatology · Lubliniec
Acne, skin lesions, redness or hair loss? A visit to Tatiana Jasińska, M.D. allows you to determine where to start.

Interview and action plan
It is worth starting by recognizing the problem, especially when the symptoms recur or the current care does not help.
You don't have to come with a diagnosis or name of the procedure. During the consultation, the dermatologist assesses the reported problem, current treatment and test results, if you have them.
With acne, recurring irritation, skin changes, scalp problems and questions about previous treatment.
List of drugs and cosmetics used, previous diagnoses and test results. If your symptoms change over time, your previous photos may be helpful.
The consultation may also concern itching, peeling, excessive hair loss and nail changes. Describe the course of your symptoms, even if they are less visible on the day of your visit. The diagnosis determines further treatment.

The recovery time depends on the condition. A consultation does not automatically mean that the procedure will be performed or that chronic symptoms will immediately disappear.
At the clinic
The doctor asks about the beginning of the problem, its variability, medications, diseases and previous treatment. Indicate the symptom that bothers you the most.
The dermatologist evaluates the skin, scalp or nails appropriate to the reason for the visit. If additional testing is needed, you will discuss its scope and organization.

Preparation
Prepare onset date, precipitating factors and previous photos. In the case of hair, information about the rate and nature of hair loss is useful.
Bring your previous results, diagnoses and medication list with dosages. Don't perform a random set of tests before your first consultation.
If the problem is with your face, come without heavy makeup. Do not discontinue treatment on your own in order to change the appearance of your skin before your visit.
Follow-up
Check how to use the recommended products and what to do in case of irritation. If in doubt, clarify use before starting treatment.
Record changes in symptoms and treatment tolerance. Compare photos taken in similar conditions instead of assessing your skin in different light every day.
The timing of follow-up depends on the problem and treatment. If symptoms become significantly worse or a disturbing reaction occurs, contact us sooner.
First consultation costs 400 PLN and a follow-up visit costs 300 PLN. Dermatoscopy, procedures and additional tests are not automatically included; confirm the scope and possible costs before implementing them.
